I"m looking for something to tune, my ix with. Does the smart system allow the mivec to function properly and is there any control over it??? I sold my 03 which had a flash, but I would like to get something that I could safley use to tune based upon the mods I add as Iown the car. I have a small bit of tuning knowledge, but theres alot I need to learn. I looking for something that will be easy to learn and use, and work with the mivec on the new ix.

 

currently there is no xede out for the IX. they are working on it but no release date has been set yet. as far as having xede control mivec, i think one of the vishnu guys would be best suited to answer that. I think it could happen but as far as how the maps are setup for mivec to control the timing I think having mivec incorporated into xede would limit the amount of features you could have loaded onto your xede(ie. launch control, no lift shift, smart, conditionals)

 

they still dont have the harness from the xede for the evo 9 !

 

dang that sucks considering the deal they have going right now ends on the 31st. Guess I cant get one for the 9 then
