Conditional software for upcoming Dyno Days

Hi guys,
Just an update. New conditional logic are now working just fine. I've been updating customers, in house, for the last few days now with no issues. I'll be doing the same during all the dyno days (St. Louis, NJ, GA, Socal, etc,.) upon request. I'll be setting up overboost protection, lean-run protection (for SMART equipped cars) and Smart fuel activation (fuel threshold table no longer needed). In addition to the conditional user-definable features, we've incorporated idle/MAF smoothening (for cam'd cars), improved start-up and other nifty stuff that should be largely transparent to the end user.

I assume this is for XEDE-equipped cars only?

Yep.. only for XEDEs. These features cannot be incorporated into a reflash.

Hey shiv I am part of the beta testers. Is the maf/idle/cam thing part of the new timing file? I did not need that to get my car started so that makes me curious.

This is a firmware update and then modification of existing maps, right? For existing SMART users would you modify the maps for us? The reason I ask is that I won't be able to catch up with you on the trip to Dyno4mance in May, but would like to upgrade for the "nifty stuff".

Will there be a new write-up on the new features -- namely the SMART Fuel activation?

Shiv, you said the lean protect feature would work with any WB O2, now its for SMART equiped cars only.

I have a Zeitronic WB and a Knock buffer (hooked up to the Zetronix). I don't want SMART Furl or SMART timing capablities, just the Lean Protection Feature.

So can/will it work??

Also, I know you probably hate this question, but when is the IX harness and update (if needed) gonna be available?? I really would like to hook up my Xede, so I can install my TBE and start having fun.

It will/should work but you would have to reconfigure any table that uses the wideband as an input. That or if you're wideband is programable - make it act exactly like the lc-1.
