Sorry if this has been covered before, I couldn't find anything. But if when I take my Xede out of my '03 and install it in my '05 what else do I need? Currently the only hardware I have is the Xede unit.

The 2003 install directions basically went remove boost pill, install xede.

For 2005 I seem to remember reading something about a passive solenoid fix. Is this an additional piece of hardware I need?

Let me know please.. Imagine you are explaining it to an idiot.

So how can I ge my hands on one of these passive boost solenoid emulators?

Also, it says that whole page is for 2005 owners only... Does that mean 2003 owners no longer need to remove the restrictor pill for the new maps?

 

Shiv, told me you dont need it the xede will control the boost. Mine does not have it and he did the install for me.
