Shiv, you probably already know of OpenECU. If not, heres some info

http://www.tactrix.com/product_info.php?products_id=34

My main question is are you gonna offer Maps by you for sell like Dynoflash is doing..

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=201305

I would like to use this as my EM/Flashing solution (as many probably will) and would like maps from you.

+1 I would like to know as well.

What is Vishnu's stance on OpenECU? and will you be supporting it with base maps?

We've tuned a bunch of cars with Colby's software. It's an excellent software package and it works as well as one could expect from a reflash. It has replaced our Techtom system, as a matter of fact We're not quite sure on what or how we will support it when it comes to mail order. I'm not sure if we want to assume liability on a mail-in flash for $50. At that point, we might as well just do custom tuning, and only custom tuning. We might, however, provide XEDEflash rom files (for 550s, 680s, and 880 injectors) so that everyone is on the same page when using the off-the-shelf XEDE maps. This will consist of the usual changes in rev limit, boost limit, idle smoothening, low end timing bumps, map conturing, etc, We'll give it some more thought over the next few days. I'm leaving for GA tomorrow and then to TX most of next week so I'll be spending much of my near future on the dyno

Cheers,
shiv

Shiv, anymore thoughts on this subject.. I have my cable ordered and am considering going to al to get a couple of 'off the shelf' baseline maps for my IX, although I'm sure he'll ***** about the Vishnu exhaust. Of course if I do that I will put the stock low octane map back in to what he gives me.

Yea, this thing is really getting off the ground. I ordered one myself. It'd be interesting to see how this all pans out.
