What IS the real deal with EVO9 XEDE?

Can anyone tell us the real deal regarding the Xede for Evo9's? Is it going to happen (including control of MIVEC) or not . If so, when? People want to move on with their lifes...

If that Xede harness for EVO9's will not be ready within a reasonable amount of time (not to mention the current 1/2 year wait), we'd like to know so that people tired of waiting can replace their currently unsued Evo8 Exede's with something else that works on the Evo9.

Thanks.

The real deal is that I've been out of state for dyno days for about 50% of my time, during the last 6 weeks. We have a test harness for the IX. Now we are working on MIVEC control which isn't a trivial thing unfortunately. Needs to be done right.

That is encouraging news. Any chance you could throw "your best guess" as to an ETA assuming you do not run into any unpredictible issues.... a month, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6?

I appreciate the detailed update and I wish I did not have to waste your time on posts such as this, but for some of us your product(s) are prerequisites for other things and we have to make appropriate plans and alternate solutions as well.

Same feeling!

I gave up and sold it to an Evo VIII owner, I guess I will just stick with a reflash on my IX MR. i was told it could handle my gt3076r turbo kit so that is what I am going with.

I'm supprised that your focus is on dyno days and not the product that sets you apart from the other companies. There is definately demand for it but the longer you wait the more likely people will be to find different product/service that will make them happy (possibly with another company).

On the other side of the coin I hope Shiv never stops tuning customer cars. I'll miss not seeing him every year or so to scare the **** out of me in my own car...
