How to setup launch control

I'm new to the xede...it came with the car, so I have no idea how it's hooked up or wired or anything. It's an old version, and I didn't think it has launch control, but apparently it does. I messed with it last night before going to bed, and this morning, I have a 6000rpm rev limiter So what do I need to connect the clutch switch and all that bidness?

Thanks.

Bump...trying to update to V3 and it won't update. Says to restart it in boot mode, but it won't ever start. I connected the pin 9 to the red wire on the grey connector...didn't work...then on the power wire to my boost gauge...didn't work...any help??

You'll have to go through the instructions in the sticky. Its been soo long since I've done it that I dont remember.

I used these instructions and they worked fine:

Yea that's what I'm using. Along with several other sets of directions.

Just be careful with it. LC can have unwanted side effects.

Everything I'm racing out here is an uncorked V8, so I can't hear my motor to see where I'm launching. I usually end up launching off the rev limiter.
