Basically my concern was that more than the names were at issue...

Edit: I just read the beta thread and found the discussion on the names. I'm reading the complete thread at this point...

Timing file w/ startup RPM/delay configured?

If the Xede is in pass through until the conditions set in the timing file, does this eliminate the need to hold off cranking the engine until the Xede has more or less completed loading the maps from flash?

Yeah. It gives it a sec to get everything up and running before it needs to actually start calculating.
