Question This might seem like a pretty stupid question...

But where do I download a version of XMap that can talk to my Xede? I was updated to the latest conditional firmware at the GA dyno day, but I don't have a version of XMap that can talk to my Xede now. I've been reading all these threads about "Conditional How-To"s, but I can't do any of it since I can't talk to my Xede. Everytime I try to connect I just get a version mismatch type error.

Help?

Actually if you have the updated firmware that Shiv did on your dyno day, you can't use the one on the website. I can e-mail u the beta version though. Let me know.

Its really not that hard. Sit that girl (XEDE) down in the corner and tell her that you need her to perform flawlessly, that you depend on her to make your Evo go (even though it still has that little beeotch 16G on it), and that you will let her chug methanol when she gives you love.

That's a great plan, but the conditional lean run protect isn't enabled right now.... and I would like it to be there for when she gets the Methanol love... which she's been getting a lot of lately.

I've got an idea... how about someone at Vishnu puts it in the secret directory so we can DL it? That'd be great... thanks.

I have the new webpage ready with the new firmware and Xmap, but i am just waiting for the user friendly updates before I make the page live. Here are the non-user friendly ones.

I'm sorry if this is getting ahead of things, but when I open a V3.2 map file in the newest Xmap, the map descriptions are corrupt. Is there a conversion that should occur or is this unexpected?

Not corrupt, just the beginning of the names got cut off. Go to edit this map (right click on the map) and edit the names.
