A local evo owner was running 255/40R17 cups on 17x9 RPO2s before his rear fenders were rolled (and he went to 275s) and had no problems.

I'm planning on getting a set of stockers for driving around (so I'm not crying if I get curb rash) and keeping the MR rims for track days.

You can buy my black chrome SSR GT2's =) Theyre ~16lbs in 17x8.5 form and come with a fairly new set of Advans...

Last year, I posted the exact weight of a flat black 5zigen FN01R-C, 17x9 35 mm offset rim. This was weighed using an ISO-certified lab scale (I'm a university professor). It weighed 19.68 pounds. This is bare - without a valve, center-cap or balancing weights on it.
