Can Shiv custom tune my EVO IX using ECUFlash??

Sounds logical..

So its $375 per hour for Shiv's time?
I'd be interested in a tune from Shiv as he's in California, but 750 is pretty high price for a reflash
[edit] Wow, nevermind. Seems the $750 Shiv charges for a ECU XFlash doesn't include Dyno Tuning at all.... Nice.

Everyone has been asking why the EVO IX flashes are more expensive, but if you price it out $ per horsepower its much cheaper than trying to make the same level of power with an VIII

But that was also on top of an XEDE, which back then, was $995. And getting two custom tuned maps was usually $300-400. Then another $100 for XEDEflash. If we charged you $200 for two maps, you must have compensated us with beer and humor.
Also, as with all flashes, the initial cost is a one-time fee. Re-tunes are done at our flat tuning rate ($250/hr).

When you consider the competition, it's actually a pretty good deal.
The competition costs $400 for a "custom" tune, but in each map, the leading competitor mindlessly leaves 20% of each timing table at the same value, so really a complete tune must cost about $500.
The competition also flashes the low and high detonation maps the same, so you're only getting half the tune for your money. A true full tune would then be about $1000.
So the products are on a par cost-wise. The expert tuning, maximized performance, and lack of bull**** are really just a bonus.
