Overboosting w/XEDE flash, XEDE

Shiv:

You tuned my car a couple of months ago. It's basically a V390 setup with a base ECUFlash map that you did with an XEDE on top fine tuning a 91/101 map. Car has been running great with no problems. Last night, I encountered the first cold snap since it was tuned. I was getting boosting up to 25.7psi and knock. Can I send you my XEDE map for a tweak?

Thanks

First some questions;

Did you get an XedeFlash? (Eliminates boost cut, which you could be describing)

Are you running a Creader? (Could be P0300 stumble at boost spike)

Are you logging boost via a MAP sensor? Most gauges are notorious for reading higher than actual pressure.

And lastly, you could just turn the boost down a little yourself on the maps. Easy to do and cheap insurance. Plenty of people on the board here can walk you through the process assuming you have a laptop and XMap.

1) Actually Shiv did a base tune with ECUFlash. He did a base tune, injector scaling and yes, eliminated boost cut.
2) Yes. No new codes.
3) Boost is being logged via a Zeitronix unit. The peak hold was the 25.7psi
4) I might just do that. Thing is, at around 60-90degrees out, boost is consistent at 22 peak with hi rpm taper. So it's limited to cold weather 40 and below.
