The only other one I can think of was a guy in (I think) Pennsylvania in a red Evo (using my memory now) who was tracking his car. Besides that, and the stage 2 car you mentioned, that's it.

I have had trouble finding it, so I guess until I can dig up the thread, I can't say for certain it happened. I remember the owner saying it was his fault for pushing it (and not Vishnu), and he ended up having Buschur do the rebuild. Anyone else remember this?

 

What's interesting is you hear these same stupid rumors about all the big names on EVOm. It is usually some guy in his ealry 20s that knows someone that dated this girl who had a brother and his roomate in college blew an engine because of __________ (fill in tuner of choice here). It is a fact that there a some people that don't like Shiv or Al or Dave or Mark......., but I doubt any of them are touring the country blowing engines. After all, that wouldn't be good for their tuning business.

 

 

I go out with a lot of vishnu tuned cars on the weekends and all I have to say is that those are the cars running the show... There are a lot of otherr shops around the bay that tunes evo's but none of them compare to vishnu's tune.. With the same mods vishnu's tuned evo ix (phet's car) beat the snot out of another tuned car with the same mods... The exact same mods!! I only know of one and one guy that comes out with us says his blew up.. But he looked like he was talking bs... I see vishnu's evo 8 a lot and he is ******* his car and yet he is still running strong... Enough said?

I dont think anyone was ******* or prejudging you man. Its just oh so often someone will wander in to stir the pot usually under a brand new user name spewing the same nonsense ( In some cases it has been found to be other tuning shops). That site you posted went up years ago when Vishnu was gaining much national press in mags like Car and Driver and every other import mag you can think of when other "tuners" didnt get any attention. It is a well known fact that multiple "tooners" and their supporters started that site and basically had conversations with themselves adding other tuner shops to the list that started to also get more popular than them - A La Turbotrix.

So those cars that are fast at the In and Out are only fast in the parking lot. Go down to the real deal in Otown and see for yourself.

 

Yeah buddy! 0town is were is at!! Them *****'z running the vishnu running the show... Lol nah but really they are great tuners... The site doesn't work by the way.. Or at least the link... Don't just go by he say she say.. I believe a lot of the smack talking is by people abusing their cars and trying to blame it on the tuner years later... I recommend you go to vishnu..

 

The funny part is that shiv has been very honest about the one or 2 motor failures he has had in the last 4 years. The one stage 2 that threw a rod @ 3500 rpm, and a guy that ran a race gas map with pump gas in the tank. Correct me if im wrong but these are pretty much it out of the countless cars shiv has tuned over the last 4 years. All i know is that my friends and i run our cars 3-4 times a week and have yet to have motor issues.. clutch problems yes!! but motors no.

 

Cool, I would recommend him to you, he is right there by you anyway. I would say What you are hearing is B.S. Go for it.

Put over 30K miles on it as a daily driver. No problems to speak of.
