Selling The EVO...

well, I'm sellin the Evo, not without some sadness...anyway, I removed my XEDE (and methonal) to put the car back to stock. Now I did have the ECU flashed by Shiv to raise the boost limit and rev limit. Right now , the car is still spikin to where it was before with the mods...26psi. I don't think it's too safe to be drivin around spikin that high w/o the meth and on a factory tune, so I'm just stayin out of boost for now. My question is...is this normal when removing the XEDE? I know the stock 05s spiked at about 19psi and tapered to about 16psi. And if I have to reflash it back, is there an easy way? I'd hate to spend another $100 and about a 2 hour drive one way to Shiv's shop just to do this...thanks...

It's normal to have a higher spike when removing the Xede and not reinstalling
the boost pill located near the BCS. Staying out of boost at this point
is very wise on your part until you reinstall the factory boost pill.

Reroute your lines, take out the bleeder tube, and put your pill back in. It will be back to stock boost after that.
