Just Wondering if anyone would be willing to post their encounters with Mitsubishi's Warranty and the Vishnu tunes...

I know Mitsubishi's allowed to void warranty, just wondering if anyone experienced this problem...

Most probably remove the XEDE before asking for warranty work.

 

my friend had 5th gear grind on his 03, he had a full stage 1+ (cams, xede, tbe) and mitsu didnt even comment on his mods and took care of the issue.

 

I have a stg 1+ on my car as well and had it in the dealership for a leaky waterpump, they replaced it no questions asked..

Most stage 1 evo 9s make 275 whp on a mustang dyno. A 420 hp 911 porsche turbo makes 315 whp on the same dyno. So with a flash, its roughly 380 hp. With a tbe + tune, evo 9s make arround 305. (pump gas)

 

Never had any issues with the VIII or IX

Dont you mean stage 0 on the IX's make 275 whp? Stage 1 for the IX is a tune with the exhaust, the one you have quoted at 305 whp, correct?

if it gets 280whp then the custom dynoflash is a better option because it gives the same hp for a lot less
