resale value for Xede?
I "had" a shive tune done. He even did it on a dyno..I'll never let him touch another car of mine and I will do all I can to keep people from using his services. As nice of a guy that he is face to face his tunes are crap. In my case lean as hell and lots of knock along with WAY to much timing.

while the xede service and market has took a dump, i will still run one based on the fact that i presently have no plans to change my setup and really don't need the service. if i change plans (different turbo, etc) then i'll reconsider. i wish i could run a standalone in mass. sux to try to pass inspection. i hate the bureaucratic hoops you'd have to jump through to get it done.
I still use as a boost controller all fuel and timing are zero'd out. I wish I new how to make timing pass trough...I tried disabling the timing map...the car would not start. jumpered the crank in/crank out car would start Xede would go into fault mode and no boost. I feel the timing signal replication is limiting the amount of timing I can run.
O well I ordered a MBC...

No, they aren't bad at all. The Xede can be considered old technology by todays standards. My Xede is still working great and I'm going to keep it for a while. I could still remember several years ago when the Xede was kicking butt at the dragstrip, especially if Shiv tuned it. If you can pick one up for cheap that's great. Unfortunately I paid top dollar several years ago for mine.

,what can I say?
