Anyone want to sell me their SMART? I already have an XEDE but will also consider picking up a spare for back up. Give me an offer!

 

I just bought an Evo VIII, and it has the Exede unit mounted behind the glove box, and a serial-port cable hanging down below it. Is this the same unit you guys are saying is pretty much worthless?

Can I just disconnect it from my Evo? Will my Evo revert back to the stock tune from the ECU?

Any help on understanding these Exede's would be greatly appreciated!

 

they are just worthless as far as resale goes....if the tune is on then i wouldnt remove it you might do more harm then good

 

They make a nice paperweight

 

Is there any easy way to find out if the tune is on? How easily can I modify the tune myself?
