There is a story... He was only running 87 octane (dont ask me why, the computer does correct for it)... anywho. It put down 325 wheel HP. i told him to run 93 for a month and come back. i think it has more than that in it. and that was only with ~11 psi

Wow , 87 octane I hope someone explained to him why he needs to run better gas, hell if he can afford a $120,000 car he can afford premium.

yeah he said premium is expensive.. he uses it every 3rd time. His car will run fine on the low octane, but it will run a lot better on 93. And it was $131,000 REALLY nice guy, hope he comes back.

87 that is terrible, why would you do that to your car. But I guess if it were me trying to afford that car I would probably not eat either. that is some power though!!!! So I guess I 'm not ready to play with those yet.

 

I have a friend with a WRX that buys 91 octance every other time... Wants to save $$ - told her she should have bought the base RS! People are weird.

 

I hope the XEDE will exeede my expectations. I need to find someone to dyno tune it first though. I freakin ask all the time for a recommendation, but no one ever says anything. I know Shiv cant do it(to far away) so I need someone in Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there any dyno in SA. How about that MZM shop in Austin. I will go to Houston/Dallas/Austin. I just wish I new of someone who had a little experience tuning it. Or someone that Shiv knows or recommends. That where if that person needed some help he could just give Shiv a call.

just to let everyone know I tested my xede out in the 1/4

I gained a minimum of .5 in the 1/4
I gained a minimum of 6-8mph in the 1/4

I did not run my car as hard as I could, and I have never ever seen one mod make that much difference in times.

shiv rocks, if you want your car to run the way it was meant to vishnu is the way to go. I can't wait until I get enough cash flow to get stage 1!!!!!
