Wow 24 PSI ??/ U must have hit a boost cut ?? I think you should just lower the boost to 21 20 and you should be fine.

Troubleshooting

When I accelerate hard, my engine cuts out suddenly for a moment!
If this is happening, the first thing to check is your boost pressure. If it is too high, you may be reaching your boost limit. This is a protection strategy that will activate a fuel cut when boost pressures are too high. With the XEDE, peak boost pressures shouldn’t exceed 20-21 psi. If they are, check the vacuum line that goes to the boost control solenoid (the hose that once held the brass restrictor). Any tears or rips in this line will cause overboost conditions.

I just found that on their website maybe u should start from there.

chill man... i posted something on this topic 2 weeks ago, since i had similar problems. it's the colder weather that is causing your car to overboost (since your car tune, and vishnu's pre-loaded maps were made in warmer temps)
use xmap and turn down boost by 1/2 to 1 lb. shiv has detailed instructions here and on the vishnu site.

thanks for all the help guys....my check engine light came on again, and my car only boosts to 10psi, i have to check the boost lines then i will check with vishnu on how to tune down the boost cause im not farmiliar with the setup yet, do i need a lap top to do so? and is it something a novice can do??? my boost was deff. hitting 24 so how much lower should i go?? also do u think it would be better to stick with stock BOV rather than the one i have??? should i put a high flow cat on rather than 3" pipe i have know?? lol thanks for answering all the questions....i ran a 13.14 @107.3 last night and was hoping for 12's but hopefully the help from you guys will get me there!!! thnaks so much!

Run by a local auto parts shop and have them scan your OBD2 port to make sure the trouble code is in line with what a boost cut would cause (I forget the code offhand).

He meant go to any autoshop or autozone and ask them to pull the code on the ecu to see if the CEL was due to high boost.

you need a laptop (or a very long cord) to load and edit the maps.
follow this link https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=46627
good luck

As others have said, you are almost certainly bumping against the factory MAF/boost cut. Easy to fix by reducing boost 1/2psi or so as described elsewhere in this forum. Some cars are more boost-happy than others. Probably has to do with variances in the turbo control system and associated plumbing. So don't be afraid to use XMAP to dial things in properly for your particular car. Souldn't take more than 2-3 minutes and is one of the advantages of having a tunable system. All you may want to install/borrow is a boost gauge to make sure peak boost doesn't go above 21psi. It's one of the things that every turbo'd car should have. Makes diagnostics/fine tuning much easier. With your boost in check, you will run quicker and without the boost cut.

Regards,
Shiv

PS. If you are only seeing 10psi or some reason, that would suggest that the boost wire came loose. Make sure that they are joined up and that they are secured with the shrink wrap or electrical tape.

If you leave it as high as 22-23 PSI peak you will probably still have problems. This is especially true with the colder ambient air temperatures common to Philly winters.

As Shiv and many others have already advised, peak boost should not exceed 21 PSI.
