Yes indeedy.... all the dyno graphs are with a cat. Either the stock cat (stage subzero and stage zero) or a 3" free flow cat (Stage 1). Running a test pipe has been shown to be worth at least 10whp, a whole lotta noise and even more stink. Not recommended.

FWIW, on the Stage 2 car with big turbo, removing the 3" free flow cat was worth 20whp and 500rpm less lag with no other tuning changes. But it still stuck up a storm

Cheers,
shiv

The only Stage 1+ dyno graphs I have are from my car which, due to all the abuse/dyno/testing, isn't very representitive of a normal customer car. Waiting to dyno tune some customer Stage 1+s which will happen soon. Very eager to develop some maps since the ones I made off of our car may not be applicable to others.

Cheers,
shiv

with the Xede is it just plug and play (tune on a dyno ) and do you need to cut any wire to be install , and if you dont plant to run it anymore can it be disconnected and connected back again with out throwing off the setting on it ??

I am hoping to have the cams and your stage 1 before christmas so I am guessing the stage 1+ should work well by then.

im planning on running the stage 1 signature and then upgrade to the stage1+ which are the cams .
a couple of questions :
1.Those the Xede move your rev limiter which is 7400rpms ?
2. Are they an problems with running the Xede :like check engine coming on?
and im sure for best results it must be tune at the dyno.
3. Since with the combination of 264/272 cams , do you need to upgrade any valvetrain or anything inside the head ? or are they just a bolt on with no worries ?
Since you can run the 264/264 with no upgrades required on the valvetrain.
But with the 264/272 you are making a change on the exhaust side ...

1. Does not change redline factory redline is 7600 BTW
2. none
3. No change needed though in the extreme long term the added stress might add up

thanks MP5
Im sure on the cams it shouldnt be that much stress since is mainly duration then lift .
From having an all motor set up from my previous project to going all turbo cam profiles are a bit different.
imagine having a 12.9mm lift and 305 of duration which of course requires the upgrade of valvetrain and reving pass 9500 rpms.
