relay click

any way to eliminate or drastically reduce that annoying clicking of the xede at full boost ? does this relay produce heat or can you wrap it up with some duct tape ?

you can actually hear it under full boost? all i hear is the engine...

I asked Brett, and he said that it does not produce heat, so it is safe to shove under there with all the other wires. i will check mine to make sure though. I hear mine too.

hmm... some rubber foam tape, then duct tape should do the trick then if there is no fire danger. can shiv confirm this, cus i dont want my car to catch on fire from this...

Is it okay to rip out the beeper from the PCB? Warranty void?

NO! Thats the factory ecu directly firing a placebo solenoid- I guess you could not plug it in and live with a plethora of CEL codes

Why did they not just use a coil with the same electrical properties as the factory solenoid? Is there a need for a relay? Isn't this just a dummy load?
