Problems with xede
Problems with xede
Okay I got the car back to stock and it started fine, When I look at the only plug that will go into the xede I have 2 dark green wires, no lime green wires, one of the dark green one's has a stripe and the other is solid green. Also I plugged the dark green with a stripe into the xede and when I tried the car would not start and was getting a flashing red light.
**** I think this is it
Locate boost control wire. It is one of the light green wire (shown below) on the largest ECU connector (the connector furthest to the left when attached to the ECU).

If you haven't already download and print out the directions. There are color pictures in there that should help out.

It is definitely a light green wire w/ no stripes unless there was a harness change during production. I think the harness connector with the boost control wire may have actually been to the right, not far left. Let me try and check my connector and get back to you.

The best way to determine the correct portion of the harness would be to locate the wire just around the light green wire. I looked for black wire and a red/yellow wire and then looked to see if the light green wire was right there in relation to those two.
The installation instruction images should give a better idea of those wires in relation to the boost control wire:

Well xede 1, Ryan 0. I am getting the car towed today to someone who knows what the hell they are doing, I don't. I think I screwed one of the conectors becase now the car will not start, it started before I started screwing with it the 2nd time
Oh well $500 down the pisser because I was trying to save 100 to install it.
