Do you have a map for the Stage 1 + cams for 93 octane? If so, I need it also. If possible, please send via email to jfh342@yahoo.com.

Thanks,

Called Lancershop today and they said they have 18 of the 264 intake cams on backorder and do not know when they will come in.

Vivid said they do not expect any to arrive for at least a month, maybe an long as 2 months. They reported that HKS Japan is backordered on this cam.

Hey MP5, I have not been out in a while. Have you taken the car to the track since the cam install?

Is there any specific breaking-in period after new cams install?

camlube and don't let it sit at idle - that is let it run w/ some rpm. Should break in pretty quick.

I have heard that you have to run below 3K rpm for like around a hundred miles before opening her up, so not true?

If you don't mine the supposedly rougher idle, and city driving is not a big concern, wouldn't the 272/272 combo be a better bet for interfacing with the stage 2 upgrade vs the 264/272, Shiv?

I suspect it will make more power although I haven't tested it myself. I did drive a car which had that cam combo and the idle was a bit too extreme for me. Then again, the only engine management it had was an S-AFC.

with the 264/272 combo do you need to upgrade the valvetrain ??? even if you are reving to stock which is 7600rpms or even 7800 rpms ??
