Gaskets for signature full exhaust

To those who have purchased Vishnu exhaust systems: Does anyone out there know if the Stage 1 Sig exhaust comes with gaskets? Yesterday I got the exhaust system, xede, and cam gears. Today, the exhaust bolts and the cool quick release V clips for the CAT were delivered. However, no gaskets. Is there going to be a third shipment or do I just need to get these myself? By my count, there should be two traditional gaskets as well.

Yea...I had a problem with the gasket not coming in. Call Vishnu, they'll take care of it.

So there should be two gaskets right? Smog asked me this today and from the looks of the pic on the site it looks as if two gaskets are missing

Just one 3in gasket for the cat back and the cat.

Two quick release clamps and also 5 black boxes for tie bar extentions with bolts and washers.

Friends,
Brett called me today at work (thanks again Brett) and took care of it. It will arrive on Thursday. There are four total fittings but I only need one gasket. The two quick release clamps on each side of the CAT pipe take the place of gaskets, and one of the fittings doesn't use a gasket because of its design (forgot what that kind of fitting is called). I still can't figure out exactly what to do with those little Borg Cubes, aka black boxes. They are heavy little rocks. They'd be fun to chuck at someone.

those go between the two lateral tie bars and the frame to lower them a bit

Can't we all just get-a-long...
Rodney King

If I really get the gasket tomorrow, I'm gonna install the exhaust tomorrow night. Otherwise, everything waits until Saturday.

Everything is completely clear to me except why I don't need a gasket for the "up" part of my uppipe. I looked closer at the system this morning and realized that only one v band goes on the cat pipe, the other is for the midpipe/muffler pipe. Could someone explain to my lame @$$ why no gasket for the top of uppipe? Brett tried but I guess me dumber than me thought.

Do you mean the 'up' part of your DOWNpipe?

If that's what you're referring to, there's no need to replace the gasket. You will be re-using the factory donut gasket. It's not a flat gasket like the one between the cat and the midpipe, so you can re-use it with no worries about leaks.

MHQSX,
Thanks for the input. You are right: the up part of my downpipe. Too many ups and downs to keep straight. I just finished the install. Thanks to Vishnu for so quickly sending that one gasket I needed. As you said, none is needed for the up on the down.....
By the way, sounds awesome. I am glad I didn't get a louder exhaust. Its just right. Tomorrow I'm doing the Xede, Saturday or Sunday the cam gears and Short shifter from Kartboy if Tom has the time to help....
