260whp dyno sheet on Shiv's Dyno w/Stage 0+

I just got Vishnu's DP to add to their catback system and had it dyno tuned yesterday by Shiv. Prior to adding the downpipe and xflash I was putting down 230whp and after with some tuning I am now making 260whp (Shiv's dyno mind you). Car has Vishnu Dump back/Xede/Xflash thats it!!! I will post the dyno sheet once I get it scanned along with my driving impressions.

Not sure that I fully understand the rationale behind the X-flash after the Xede installation. Can't the Xede provide the same level of tune by istself as it can with the X-flash or are there additional parameters that the X-Flash can minipulate that are not accessible with the Xede?

EDITED: Disregard above post. Questions were answered in the following thread:

Torque peak is very high @255lb/ft average on the Dyno Dynamics. Applying a 17% correction factor to compare numbers with DynoJet readings shows 305.55 HP and 298.35 lb/ft.

Please post what octane you were using and how much boost you are running at 4K where the torque peaks so we may attempt to make useful comparisons.

Man that rocks! Now get a good base map for the xede for the 1+ and let me get my ECU flashed and get a setting for the cams gears as well. I bet it will be making some KILLER power.

See what Im talking about?? A loss of 20 Ft/LBS at 4K with a 3" exhaust. Shiv can you help out with this as it concerns to this thread? https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=54684 Curiously thats the only area were there is a loss it seems as if this is inherant in lotsa maps Ive looked at even dating back at the Houston day were the 2.5" guys- Peter especially had more torque down low than the big 3" guys. It doesnt seen to me that big exhusts do wonders to HP but there is also something to be said for TQ also

- Shiv hook us up with some custom tuned stage 1 charts- also is this a different dyno mode? Shootout or something?

I think the saying goes. "Can't have your cake and eat it too" I think you maybe happy with the 2.5 you were talking about for the TQ hit but I am used to cars like this hell the NSX top power was at 7700 and same with my old TT Rx-7.

Something is strange.... Now if the TQ does not hit as high okay I understand that, but the TQ SHOULD hold better and not die out like it does, hell they both have the same TQ @ 6400 and I was thinking the higher HP car SHOULD have higher TQ @ a higher RPM as well, Does it have to do with the turbo's usable range?
