It's already faster than Al's nitrous burning, "585whp", built motor'd drag racing "monster"

Both in the 1/4th and in the 1/8th by a considerable margin

MPH=fastest, ET=Quickest

With all the smack Al/Dynoflash speaketh, I thought beating his runs were going to be hard and actually require a concerted effort And there's still another 4-5mph in there just begging to be let out

Shiv, great times! Do you still run a stock clutch and was XFlash applied and if so was the rev limit raised already? Again, great numbers!

This ain't gonna shut Al up, it'll just make him mad and make him go out there and do one better. I am for one can't wait. Great competition breeds great improvements for the rest of us! Way to go Shiv to slap Al around with a gauntlet, now just sit back and watch what Al will come up with next...

Nope. Nor did I need 2 bottles of nitrous. Or even an upgraded intake

Me running the Stage 2 car (or any other Stage) in the 1/4 mile really doesn't breed any great improvements for customers. That is, it hasn't improved tuning or any other technical aspects of the set-up. It's just that now people can look at actual drag strip numbers to see what they are getting instead of taking my word for it

Cheers,
shiv

Al claims 11.505 under his Avatar. That is one record still needing to be broken. However, anyone can see that Shiv's car is a faster car in every other category. But still, 11.505 needs to be beat to claim the undisputed title, right?

Shiv, didn't you get kicked out after the the 11.6? Did the officials say anything about a roll cage being needed for times like that?

I dunno... I left the track after that run. No one was chasing me on the way out which is good i guess. Today, all I wanted to do is break into the 11s. With a bit more practice and drivetrain abuse, I'll go back there for round 2.

Oh yea, I'm running a CUSCO dual plate clutch. Stock one gave up the ghost a while back. Installed another aftermarket clutch thereafter which didn't work very well at all. Installed the Exedy a few days ago and it's been peachy so far.

Shiv - here are the details on my fastest run so far in the evo

60' 1.742
330 4.927
1/8 7.497 @ 96.01
1000 9.666
1/4 11.505 @ 121.40

I'll give you a hint on drag racing - 2nd or 3rd place is still 2nd or 3rd place in drag racing no matter how you spin it or what excuses you make!

BTW - I also went 11.62 with no NOS - I am curently the quickest with and without NOS

Good luck
