dual maps and dual fuel

since AZ gas is as bad as CA gas, i was thinking of putting in a 5 Gal race tank in the trunk. Plumb and wire it all in. switch it back and forth between 100 and 91. a series of switches to jump back and forth between the two ect ect. you get the concept. Flick a switch on the exede. What do you all think?? RRR

It has been done. But you also need 2 fuel return lines and a solenoid to switch between the two. That is the hardest part.

The Stage 2 customer far we are currently working on is equipped with an aux. fuel cell. It uses a nifty swithing device with built-in timer to account for the time it takes to clear the system of the old gas in the lines before switching XEDE maps. We are making it into a kit if all goes well.

Cheers,
shiv
