It'll take more than luck, but thanks!
Update:
The Stage once Stage 3 (now Stage 2) car was up and running by midnight last night with the original engine and the smaller GT3037 turbo. We spent the last two days removing the trick GT35R and super jammy head we had in there before. Drove it home last night and everything seemed okay. No leaks, oil burning, etc,. Going to spend a few hours on the dyno today wringing it out. It should make the same power we made before back during our drag racing days
It certainly won't be the most powerful at the event but, at this point, beggars can't be choosers.
The new front and rear clutch-type differentials make the car behave so differently at the limit. Not sure what to make of it yet since the roads were wet last night. Certainly needs additional suspension tuning which we don't have time to give it. Might take some twisty roads down to LA tonight just to see if anything else can be easily tweaked for the better.
I'm off to the alignment shop now...

I guess I missed something, but why did you have to ditch the GT35R setup? If there is a link that explains then please point me to it, but otherwise what went wrong? Also, do you have a limited slip in the front now? I have read rumors that a limited slip will not work with our ABS program, if you have one I would like to know how it did in the shootout. Good Luck!!!!

Shiv....can you get some footage on a video camera of the shootout, or just some footage of your stage 2 car would be good..on the dyno is fine, or position Ken in a strategic location by the side of the road..
I am sure I speak for all when I say " we would like to see this thing in action.."

We have 2 more hours before we need to leave for LA and we're obviously pushing our luck
Why did we have to put in the stock egnine last night? Turns out we had a problem with the fancy gasket in the built engine. It never sealed properly and leaked at between every cylinder. Within the first hour of running, the leaks pressurized the cooling system and popped the rear freeze plug off, draining the entire motor of coolant during a dyno run. The ported head got heat damaged and needs to be fixed which we didn't have time to do. The old motor (with 3000+ dyno pulls under its tired belt) was called into action and is currently powering the car. Lack of time prohited assembling/installing it as well as we'd but we're hoping it is good enough to run in the test. If not, we have a back-up car that we are also bringing down

So with all of these problems with the car, how were you finding time to update people, posting on this forum? All tuners involved have had ample time to put their best foot forward, so, whatever the outcome, it's been fair, and the judgement I'm sure will be sound.
