Ah, that's why I've never heard it - I always get that first click.

Still happening

This problem is occuring more and more. At least once every 2 days. I used to be able to just turn the car off and let it sit for a moment but now that doesn't work. I have to do a total shut down and let the car cool for the XEDE to initalize correctly or whatever the prob is. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?

Have you tried calling Vishnu? They probably know what to do or can help you get it straightened out......

I hate to bring this topic back up, but I've been having this problem recently. It seems to be getting worse... Every time a power cycle (turn car off and on again) returns the XEDE to normal operation. It also seems to happen in the morning only. When I turn my car on in the afternoon it's fine.

Might this be a good time to drop by and get the new V.3? Was this determined to be a wiring harness problem, or ground problem?

Thanks.

I recently started having a problem similar to this. When I was driving my car today, I noticed I was only hitting 10psi. When I took out the glove box, the light on the xede was red. I shut the car off, restarted it, the light went green and I started hitting 20psi again. The next time I started the car, the light on the xede was read. I shut it off, turned it back on and it worked.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what my problem might be. I guess my problem differs from their's a little because my xede is actually not coming on every time. I recently updated to the new firmware, so I'm not really sure what the prolem is.

Turn your key to 'ON' for 3 seconds before cranking and starting the car. the newest XEDE maps have so much stuff to load, they may not finish loading before you start the car.

I'll give that a shot. Maybe that's what it is because I was V2 and just upgraded to v3 with launch control on Friday, so that would explain why it's doing that now. I'll let you know how that works out.
