Yeah, we'll have to hear from Shiv why they were so low on the totem poll.

I'm heading down to Pikes Peak International Raceway on Sunday to check things out.

In the slim chance that the Vishnu car or driver needs something let me know.

I'll get some pics too.

A little birdy just told me that Shiv's Cusco diffs were locking/binding (as they were designed to do) so their setup is not skidpad friendly but they are doing good today.

Update:

Yesterday didn't go so well. Going in circles at 40mph in the rain is apparently not this car's forte!

However, they came out like titans today and placed in the top 5! This moved their overall standings up quite a bit to say the least. Drag racing is later today, and there's a C5R and a race Viper in there with them. Paul is doing awesome! I wish I could be out there to spectate.

Yeah I called Shiv this morning, at about 930AM(california time) and he informed that the car didn't do so well on the wet skid pad because the cusco diffs were doing their job. He also said that with one time trial event to go, the car was doing extremely well. I'm excited to see the overall results after today.

Going to Pikes Peak tomorrow? Is it open to public? How much are tickets? Is anybody going?

I called the office but they are closed.

Bracket drags update..
Paul had a bit of trouble holding his w... err... containing his excitement and redlit by a mere couple of thousands. A very solid effort nonetheless!

Apparently there's never been a four banger that has done this well in so many One Lap events, and our little Paul piloted Vishnu Evo has become one of the crowd's favorites. Keep smokin' those tracks, Paul; We're all pulling for you!

Darn! It is hard to give Chrono a hard time after today's performance. Too bad though, that was a lot of points to leave on the table.

In case some folks want the basics on bracket racing, here is a good link:
