Sorry Eric....just drawing from what they do in the UK...ralliart will install ARP's as a matter of course on any car heading for the north side of 320hp....and for an additional $60.00.

The only problem is really install. They are tricky to do it on the motor. It sounds easy enough but you know that is. Now what about head studs?

I believe Joey C's motor had rod bolt failure, but I've never got the complete details.

I would think head studs are less important unless you are running silly boost levels.....
23psi up till red line is a conservative level of boost IMO...and would make a very potent but reliable daily driver...
Although this is speculation of course

I thought he built his motor himself though? Anyways, we didn't change Shiv's head studs and rod bolts until we put the ported head on. The motor had well over 4000 dyno pulls(a little over 1k miles at WOT) and 20k+ miles on it before the rod bolts and head studs were touched. I'd still reccommend it though just to be on the safe side if you want to push 27-30psi.

20k of Shiv abuse is good enough for me.

I migh to in and TQ everything but I'm not to keen on replacing rod bolts.

Edit what I really ment to say is

I might try to TQ the factory bolts in just to make sure they are with in spec.
