Changing 2nd gear mapping??

Not sure if I am the only one but i have a quick question. My 2nd gear feels kinda weak. I have noticed after many pulls that the boost falls off very quick in 2nd as compared to 3rd. 3rd gear in my car is almost twice as fast and the boost stays up twice as long as 2nd. Yes, I watch the RPMs. In 3rd from 3500-6500 my psi is still around 22-33 but in 2nd by 55 rpm my boost is already at 19psi. GOD, I ramble on. How do I change the map so that 2nd will hold boost a little longer?

Thanks

Tony

1st and 2nd gear do not produce enough load to get the same boost as 3rd-5th. Your situation is normal.

Hahahah

FUNNY, you guys crack me up. Though I did beat a Twin Turbo RX-7 with exhaust, cams, FMIC, boost controller and a 50 shot. I was rolling 4 deep with my friend who weighs just over 300 in the front. Of course this was on 116 octane. But I won. I just love the 3rd gear in my car.

Ohhh, Seth, are you ever going to upgrade your turbo or clutch? If you were going to get a clutch next week , which one would you buy?

I'll upgrade my clutch when this one gives up the ghost. It seems to be doing very well still, so I'm sticking with it. If I did upgrade, I'd want an Exedy twin, though.

As far as the turbo, that's way in the future. I do suspect I'll get cams for the next time Shiv comes through town custom tuning, though.

I have never seen a RX-7 with cams.
