Xede high boost control...

I have noticed from the maps online that the 104 maps are said to run more boost than the pump gas ones. I was curious as to how this is done as my stock maps are all at 100% already and I run about 1.4 bar dropping to 1.3 or so. When looking at the race gas maps online, I see that the wastegate duty cycle is actually dropped some in the midrange compared to what I run now. Shouldn't that lower boost, not raise it?

The race gas maps have more aggressive timing which can increase boost.

Yes. But not just timing, fuel as well. With race gas you can run as much timing as you want but you reach a point were to much timing you start to lose TQ.

Garret/Honeywell, States that 70% of a turbo energy is threw heat. So only 30% is threw the force of the exhaust velocity if that statement is true. Now I don’t now if it’s true or not but if you assume it is, then increasing exhaust tempters will increase turbo output.

With race gas the octane is much higher then pump gas so it would have a higher flash point. Witch will allow you to run the car leaner with out detonation. Witch intern would allow higher egts with out per-ignition of the fuel from cylinder heat.

So Turbo gets a lot more heat and makes more boost.

A lot of tuners try to take away detonation by dumping fuel for a liquid cool affect but all they really are doing is increasing cylinder pressure and hope they do not reach mechanical failure. (IE something breaking like a rod bolt of rod or piston or spinning a bearing).
