customer service

I wanted to thank Shiv and Vishnu for their great customer service. To ensure that I have the cam gear in time for the installation, shiv had arranged a set of cam gears hand delivered to me! I was able to finish the cams and cam gear install last night. I will see you guys Tue for the dyno tuning.

Hey Terry,

How do you like the Vishnu set up? I just purchased a Signature cat-back exhaust and was wondering if I should continue down the Vishnu road to Stage 0
(or even Stage 1) with the XFlash. I am a little concerned about using a piggy back, so I have ruled out the Xede. Your Dyno graph is very impressive!

Terry, it was great seeing ya. Everyone down at the shop is working hard to make sure each and every last customer is happy. Enjoy the car, and come visit us for a stage 2 kit, when you are bored with the stage 1+ power.

xflash does make power! I hope that I could use the new found power to improve my lap time.

hi garrick,

i only have the xflash w/o xede, a little more power can be had with the xede, but i am very happy with the current xflash tune.

Thanks Terry,

I gave them a call today. They returned my call, but I was away from the phone. I hope to make an appointment with them soon.

Actualy Terry, the same power level can be achieved with the x-flash, as with the xede, provided they are both using the same fuel. The advantage of the xede is map switching, which allows one to switch between a pump gas program, and a race gas program. The xede also has a few other features, like real time maping, and user tune access, which are nice.

I normaly tell customers that if they only fill up on pump gas, and are a set and forget it type customer, then go with the X-flash. If they like to run race gas at the track, and/or like to tinker with their cars, then the xede is most likely a better choice. Both come with a great tune, making either a good choice.

Not quite grasshopper The XEDE has much finer spark advance resolution, allowing the tuner to make adjustments in fractions of a degree. This resolution can be used to smoothen out the curve as well as acheive maximum hp. The XEDE also has the knock adjust feature which fixes a few issues with the factory knock control issue. Both these features may only result in a few extra hp but they are there if needed. But as Sonic said, either option will fit the bill if you are looking for more power without sacrificing operational safety margin and adaptability.

Regards,
Shiv
