Turbo Timer w/ Xede?

This may sound like a stupid question. But I am going to ask it anyways.

Do you have to do anything special to the TT when having an xede installed. I am pretty sure a TT is pretty straight forward to install, and I was thinking of getting one. Anything special you have to do to install one at the ordinary, and does it effect locking the doors?

I'm pretty sure you lose the factory anti-theft key recognition when you install a TT, but other than that, a great way to spend $80-100 for bling. I'd adjust my park brake to make sure that sucka will hold, esp if you live in a hilly area and get ready for an a$$load of people to tell you "Hey, you left your car running".

Unless you pull into parking lots Dukes of Hazard style or don't run synthetic oil, I think TT are more a laxative mod like grounding kits than anything else. Door locks will still work with your keyless entry once the ignition handshake is bypassed IIRC.

So I am guessing I would lose the anti-theft thing huh.
