Ah, quit arguing, look at my dyno chart and you'll draw the logical conclusion that since I have the upper pipe and I made 380whp, if you get the upper pipe, you will also make 380whp.

BR UIC does work with stock air box. Definitely a tight fit, but does work. I have that combo XEDE, BR UIC, stock box, as well as other mods.

Sweet! Looks like that's the route I'll be taking... ... not only will I then also make 380whp like 4G63>OOOO, but I figure if I add a Vishnu decal I'll be good for 400whp easy

im getting my custom made upper IC pipe put in on Friday by Road Race. Nice, cheap (< $100), and works perfectly with the stock airbox, no compromises. ill post pics when i get the pipe put in.

Hmm, in a flash of inspiration, I think I might pursue the following possibility... since I am going to be relocating the stock battery and IC sprayer reservoir, I'm thinking I should be able to have an upper IC pipe fabbed that basically curves around or under the stock airbox into the TB. Basically that should then eliminate just about all sharp bends. One question, though ... what's the consensus on using stainless steel vs. aluminum?
