It would be my advice to hold off on the launching for the time being. You will also need to remove the restrictor in the slave cylinder to get better feel and longevity from your clutch
yes we can install you a new clutch.

Seth

This is at the top of my list. I need the ECUTek and tune before I go to the track day at Barber in Nov.

What would be the total cost for the ECUTek flash, tune (Shiv's time) and dyno time (Andrew's fee) combined (roughly)? I want to make sure I will have enough on me while I'm there and not need to run down the road again.

Engine Mods:

VF39 ported wastegate
grounding kit
TBE
Apex'i intake
TXS FMIC

Should have the GT Spec II header back on by then (in a box in the garage) and a Perrin crank pulley too.

Thanks Seth!

Trey

I have a question for the VIshnu guys. I have been reading, and have decided that I will probably need some sort of reflash. Ive been reading up and the XEDEflash sounds like something I need. I dont want a tune flash, but just something to raise the boost/fuel cut. I would probably want to keep the rev limiter where its at stock as well. Can you buy just the XEDEflash since it sounds close to something like I need. There is no way i would give Dynoflash my money either. If there is any possibility and the price is decent, i may be interested in getting a flash from Shiv, and maybe see about swapping on call weekends here at work since Shiv will be at Dyno4mance.

No, he's referring to the Xedeflash, which is basically a reflashing of the ECU that fixes the factory midrange boost cut and can raise the rev limit to 7750 rpm if you like. Apparently, the Xedeflash takes care of a few things that cannot be changed via the Xede. AFAIK, it is not necessary to run an Xede if you want only the changes made by the Xedeflash.

sweet, I guess my question is will shiv just XedeFlash a stock ECU. Im not interested in the gains of an Xflash, but dont have a full piggyback yet, just SAFC, but want to take advantage of the couple features that Xedeflash has with no Xede. I have cams, cam gears, fuel pump, mbc, and hitting boost cut.

AFAIK, yes. He will be able to reflash your ECU on the spot if you come to the dyno weekend. I'm having mine reflashed then as well.

Do you have to have the Xede, to get the Xedeflash?? Im not really interested in the x-flash. Just the fuel cut option.

I'm getting an Xede, but AFAIK the Xedeflash is entirely independent of the Xede, so you don't need an Xede to run it. It consists of a reflash to reprogram the mid-boost cut out of the ECU and can up the rev limit and remap for larger injectors if you wish.
