Xedeflash with Xede V3?

If I read correctly Xede version 3 software has the ability to help smooth out idle with cams. On the other hand this is a documented feature of the Xedeflash.

Assuming that I understand correctly XedeV3 and Xedeflash, will these two conflict thus resulting in a need to get the Xedeflash updated for when V3 is released?

Not to be obnoxious about this but when I called the shop with this question I never really heard an answer I understood. In addition I posted this in other threads where idle was discussed in relationship to Xede V3 and Xedeflash with no result. Could someone at Vishnu answer this question in simple terms?

Talking about all the features and functions of V3 at this time would be premature since it's still under the final stages of developement. That's probably why the guys didn't give you any coherent answer. XEDE v3 is a firmware update which takes idle control to a new level. A level not attained with a reflash. Both help but V3 is going to have a big impact on a lot of things. Updated your XEDE to v3 will not require a new XEDEflash.

Ok that I can understand.

One other question on the Xedeflash. If I want to hold to the stock rev limit can I get everything else for a Stage 1+ w/o raising the rev limit? (Yes I know, I'm paranoid.)

shiv,

just wondering about your V3 upgrade --have you done that? David told me about a week ago he sends me XEDE with idle and injector scaling programmed in...

I cannot check it for now (for some reason) and wondering have you issued new version?

thanks

Shiv, is there a good likelihood that the V3 update will be available for the Atlanta Dyno day?

The noise is not bothersome but sometimes rough idle can mean an increased tendency to stall which is substantially more annoying.
