XEDE Power-On fix

Well, we found it. Those who are having problems with your XEDE not powering up every now and then (which causes boost to go low) can rejoice The fix involves removing of a small resistor on the board. If you're handy with circuit boards and sharp razor blades, you can do it yourself. Of course, if you do it wrong you will destroy the entire entire XEDE

With that in mind, you can always send your XEDE to us to fix. Just send it to us with a letter saying that you are experiencing the power-on problem. Make sure you include your return address and daytime phone number so we can call you if we need to. The fix literally takes 30 seconds so we can have the XEDE shipped back to you that same day. Taaa da

No problem. We've been doing it automatically on all the XEDEs that have been leaving hear since a week ago.

I have not had the problem yet, but would like to do it as a preventive measure. How do I get instructions to do it?

Shiv....Maybe we can do this at the south east dyno day... It would save people the hassle and down time they would experience if they were to send it back to Cali
Glad to hear there is a fix...It feels good to own a product that is always being addressed developed and improved

Thumbs up

I'd be grateful if we can do this at Dyno4mance's Dyno day. It happens to me just once in a while and I think I figured out that it's likely when driven and warm with AC on with startup. So it seems like it comes on under conditions of high drain on startup.
Anyway, I hope we can get this nailed, too.
Good work, Shivlock Holmes!

ANy news on this? How do we perform this? My XEDE doesn't click half the times. I can definetly feel the lack of boost.

I experienced it from a cold start today... It would only boost to about .8 bar. Until I re-started the engine, boost came back.
