That's because your lobe seperation is now 113 degrees. Electronic ECU's love that setting. Stock HKS cams run 110 degrees lobe seperation. No wonder you have a smooth idle...probably close to or better than stock.

Then we race together. we can ride forever
Wrapped in horsepower, driving into fury
Changing gear I pull you tighter to me

I’m your turbo lover

I'm testing every combo of HKS 264 and 272 cams on my car. I've already tested 264/264 and 264/272, and I have 272/264 on my car right now. Next is 272/272.

I'm not a butt dyno kind of guy. I'll have more data on Saturday.

So far the car with a maxed out 16G seems relatively insensitive to changes in the cams.

So we just did a few runs on the dyno with my car...

272 in 264 ex
Baseline Stage 1+ map (XFlash)

-Power output was 271 (Cold)
-Consistently 263-265 on the next few runs
-No tuning was done, I'm still running the baseline stage 1+ map

Conclusion: idles like stock, makes same power as the other hks cam setups.

How about the lower rpm range HP/TQ(area under the curve)? same, better or worse?
