Vishnu Gear Set Timing Vs. Others

What I would like to know is...

Are the Vishnu cam gear sets indexed with respect to TDC or the factory cam timing settings? I ask because I have been told the factory cams are not installed at straight up TDC.

Additionally, however they are indexed, are they indexed the same way as other aftermarket sets?

This little bit of information is certainly important!

Not sure what you mean by "indexed". The Vishnu gears offset the factory timing settings. Interestingly the vishnu gears are actually offset one tooth with respect to their own "index" markings (the TDC tooth is actually one tooth off). If you don't trust the factory settings you could always use positive piston stop and a degree wheel to "index" the cams to the offset of your choice.
