Forge recir. Anybody know if the MR bov holds 28 PSI???

 

How do you guys like the Forge sound? The only one i've heard is the Greddy Type S.

 

just a note, the USDM MR tested by the magazines had a plastic diverter valve I believe.

When you push in the clutch it goes Pffffffffffft. Not too loud.

Stock because mine holds boost on the stock turbo just as good as my Greddy type s, but it drives much nicer.

 

Stage 1+ with the stock BOV. I have a Defi BF series boost gauge and have not noticed any boost leaks yet.

I also have read that the MR BOV on the MR is also a plastic unit. The one you would buy from a vendor is a ralliart part...

 

I was running the Greddy Type-S with my Stage 1+. I hated it. I switched to an APS Dual Vent. It works great. No stalling issues, no boost leak, and sounds cool under high boost.

 

thanks! Just one question, is the one on gruppe-s modeled after the MR's valve, or is it the actual one?

 

Forge is the choice, holds boost perfectly with little to no flutter. Ignore the stories you'll find from 6 months ago they made a few revisions to this particular valve.

I checked mine up to 25 psi too & it still held!! There was a SLIGHT leak straight away @ 5 psi, but it never got worse as I increased pressure.
