MY BOV is stock and I have stage 1

 

Stock BOV on a stage 1+.

 

Mine still holds boost so I seen no reason to replace it

 

I know David over at Vishnu was and probably still is running the MR diverter valve and loved it, his stock valve was leaking though, and I mean bad lol, so he had a reason to switch his out.

 

HKS SSQV and stage 0+

 

Do have pic of HKS SSQV installed? I was debating on getting one but I don't think it will be that loud with stock airbox or fit.

I cant get pictures of it because where it is mounted. When I had my stock box in it, I heard it just fine. It was plenty loud. It is mounted to the transmission. and located under the stock box, making it hard to see, but definetly NOT hard to hear. I love it and wouldn't change it.

Evomoto.com sells the SSQV and mounting kit for around $300.

I suggest you get the EIDS kit as well. It will help with any stalling problems. I don't have it yet but I will be getting it very soon. The VTA causes rough idle....but the sound is worth it.

MR BOV, w00t!

 

MR BOV with Stage 0+. I had to reduce the boost table a little because I was hitting 1.7 KPA on my Defi BF boost gauge in 5th gear. No boost leaks with this BOV.

I may try to use the stocker again to see if there is a difference. I got the MR BOV before the Xede.

 

I decided not to give the stock plastic one a chance to leak, and so I bought the MR. For $120, it seemed like a no-brainer.

 

Where can I get myeslf a valve from the MR?

 

mr here too. i got mine from gruppe-s, but i think you will be able to get em at a dealership soon.
