What Turbo Should We Use???

Here at Vivid Racing we are having a hard time deciding what turbo to use on our 9rs We want Fast spool but lots of power. We want to build time attack style car 450WHP or more, But with a Agency Power(sister company to VIVID) Turbo Kit.

AP turbo kits utilize garrett turbo flanges so we are wanting to know with the new mivec head what turbo from the BBGT series should i use??? 3076, 3071, 2871, 2876???Keep in mind this will be on a stock block. SO PLEASE give your imput... We would love to have the evo community be apart of this build.

i would say go with a 50 trim...from all my research that seems to be the best.... i think the closest comparison is the 3076-3071.... give or take the same amount of power as a 50 trim...but the spool is going to be a little behind the 50 trim...

cheers

read ur article in the new modified... good job and keep it going!

I would go for the 3076, although I'm interested on how the 2876 would perform.

50 Trim.Great spoolup, great power under the curve(Look at the graph of AMS recently tune 50 Trim EVO 9),no need a lot of boost to make power.

50 Trim FTW
