I know this is a late bump but is there any intention to have one of these developed for the X?

I know it's not listed on here - and it's not even shown on our website; but Autopower does make both the 4-point roll bar and the 6-point cage for the Evo X.

Shoot me a PM with your zip/postal code for pricing!

if you put anyone in the back you must hate them, cause putting anyone back there is hoping they dont hit there head in a accident and kill themselves. epic fail for trying to keep form and function with other peoples lives

This is where you get to choose whether your EVO is going to be a race car or people mover.
From the angle of some of these pics, it looks like the front passenger's head could hit the bar in an accident. That'd necessitate wearing a helmet on the street, which isn't going to work out. lol.

4+ point belts are sure nice on track days but might be impractical for a dual-use car.

If you plan to have people riding in your rear seats, DON"T GET A ROLL BAR!

Like some of the guys have said, this is extremely unsafe because the passenger could hit the bar in an accident (and some padding on the bar will not keep them safe). As for the comment posted stating that you'd still have access - that was made by an employee before I started working here, but I can only assume the comment was made sarcastically.

I have the bolt in 4 point in my car now. Just FYI - you can't even get the rear seat back into the car with the bar in there, and there's NO way a person could wiggle inbetween the monkeybars. . .

My question is whether the driver could safely drive the car to the track without wearing a helmet? Is the bar far enough behind the driver's head?

I currently daily my car but in the Spring I'm going to dedicate it to HPDE & auto-x. I still won't want to add anything that'll require trailering the car.

Yes. I'm 6'3" and the bar is far enough back so that there is no worry of it causing a problem. Because its so far back it makes it impossible for anyone to even get in the back seat - so no worries about passengers back there

Which version of the roll bar do you have?
