What kind of customer service do I get?

I was kind of disappointed with the quality of your service. I recently ordered the ralliart brake line from your web site. When I got a mail from one of your staff saying the brake line needs to be custom ordered, I tried to cancel it but keep the rest of the order. Three different mails were sent to your staff and not one reply in return. So you finally canceled it but up until now i still haven't received the rest of the order.
BTW, my order was placed on April 25. Check it out.

You know I had a similar problem I called to ask if they would like to lower my car and all they kept doing was transfering my call. I think I counted 3 or 4 times on time it was back and forth. Also they haven't replyed my e-mails or anything just real real poor customer service.

It really strikes me that Vivid have time to re-post their customer service policy but cannot find the time and effort to check my order and tell me what's going on. Maybe you don't need extra staff, you need better time and resources management.

haha i just had a discussion with "Lauren" about this, i had her cancel the order cuz i ordered them (brakepads) from somewhere else, i placed order on friday (morning) ~9 am EST, and then waited until 11 EST to use their WONDERFUL, "live support" because my acccount had the old address, they told me to email so i emailed, and said before you try and charge me, need to contact me for new address, and gave them my phone number.
needless to say, no phone call, and then i get a email today that the order has been declined? NO KIDDING?
anyway, all and all order is canceled, and VR is on my 2nd of 3 strikes....(first one they had a sale on here when they first came on here, and didn't want to honor the sale price when i called the on the last day of the sale, NOT the day after, the day they said it was going to end)
mind you vivid use to have a bad rap on here, then they cleaned up..... now it looks like their going in a downward spiral again
needless to say, no phone call, and then i get a email today that the order has been declined? NO KIDDING?

Just to straighten things up on this order, I was looking over it about 20 minutes ago, and your order would have been shipped, and there was only one address you posted which did not need to be verified, and the only reason the product was not shipped was because of non payment. Thank You for your concern and I hope that cleared everything up. If you would like to order this product please make sure of funds and give me a CALL and I will do it for you.

Back in the WRX days?? hmmm.... So if yuo USE to have a problem with us.. That was "back in the WRX days". Now is now...not then. Things have changed. Like I have said ooover, and oooover, and ooooooover again. Your problems didn't ocurr because of me. That is all I need to say.
I've dealt with Vivid several times and never had any problems. Its best to call and talk to them on the phone than place orders through the website I've found. Then you know if they have it in stock or not.
Very honestly I've dealt with 3 people from Vivid over the past year and I have nothing but praise for them. Dan, Huff and more recently Gabe have all been very good about getting back to me, even when the products that were purchased were from a competitor, they've always had the time to help make sure they work properly.
Just to make something clear though. You're always going to get better service calling a place than doing it over the WWW. It's as simple as that. You want questions answered then call. People can only answer so many emails and PM's in a day, and some stuff always falls through the cracks no matter how big or small the company.... in the year I've dealt with them I've never hung up without getting an answer to a question about tech or inventory and when I'm ordering they always give me a great deal!!!! Realize this. If you think you deserve a better price, the computer ain't going to give you one. A salesperson can. Don't expect "deals" over the internet.

Ok. Very true, if you want to negotiate a good deal, calling is the best. But if the reason for the poor service over the internet is lack of man power or time. Then shut it off or otherwise IMPROVE. No more lame excesses.
Now, can Dan or anyone from Vivid give me a contact email so I can be more proactive and contact you guys. It’s so hard being a customer these days.
