which plugs for 100% methanol?

I just got my car tuned for 100% methanol on stock turbo/ignition with fully built race head and 272's boosting 26psi. I did a search on spark plugs and seems like most are using the 1 step colder ones which is the NGK BPR8ES gapped at .022? Some said the BPR8ES work good but the life span on it isnt that great and some had better luck with the Denso IW-24 that lasted much longer than the NGK's. Trying to gather some information on what plugs everyone is running with alcohol injection....

1.Which plugs are you using?
2.How much boost and gap?
3.Life span on the plugs?

Thanks!

I have been using NGK BR8EIX plugs. A little more costly than copper plugs but they seem to last longer. On the stock ignition I was using .22 gap but know I gap them to .30.

I use the bpr8es gapped at .022 with stock ignition. I change them about every 5k miles. I would just stick with those. Sure you change them more often but they are only 1.50 each. Beats 10-12 bucks for the iridiums.

Yup. BPR8ES gapped to 0.023" here and let her spike to 30 PSI. She's still boosting strong for almost a year and I pray for her everyday. :}
I change my plugs every 3K miles with my oil and tire rotations.

With using methanol and high boost (stock ignition), you -should try the bpr8es. Also think about the HKS DLI-2 Ignition amplifier... some Evo's misfire at high boost...this will help a lot.

i pay 7 dollars for my plugs

http://www.ngk.com/results_cross.asp...R8EIX&kid=2526

I usually like to have 2-3 sets around. I tried copper and went thru like 2-3 plug sets fairly quickly.
