Changed spark plugs, now have boost problems

Hi,

I have recently changed my spark plugs from NGK PGR7A'S to BPR8EIX's. The car is running fine but the only problem I am having now is that I am barely hitting boost. I did not gap the new plugs as i read on here you shouldn't gap iridium plugs. My car is running 27psi with supporting mods on stock turbo. Should I just get rid of my BPR8's and get some BPR7's?

Thanks

Plugs should be good. But go back and gap them using a feeler gauge.

you need to gap the plugs, the gap will be big. i bet it will read .032 or so which will cause park blowout. gap it down to .022 imo and it should be ok.

I have put the old plugs back in just to see if the boost would be back to how it was before, but still having boost issues?

Sounds like a coincidence that you noticed this issue with the plug change. If switching back to the original plugs didn't correct the issue then it's clearly something else. I would check for boost leaks. Check couplers/clamps, throttle body, hoses, nipples, etc.
