I am not sure if you are asking if the HSV can be controlled by the ECU's spare PWM output? or spliced into an existing fuel injector?

A HSV contolled by a map similar to, but seperate from, the AFR map. Somehow contoll the HSV duty by RPM vs LOAD, without closed loop of course

If you have a spare PWM channel on your ECU, you can easily do that with the HSV.

I believe Element 's Hydramist is already doing that, not sure if it is available for the EVO.

so then the HFS-1 is......

and the HFS-5 is.......

im still cloudy on the differences between the two. is that the difference, one is on/off and the 5 is progressive?

hfs-1 = on/off (system fires full blast once the trigger point is reached)

hfs-5 = high speed valve (HSV) pulses in sync with 1 of the fuel injector once trigger point is reached

both are constant pressure injection systems - you get maximum atomization, which is crucial for good distribution of injectant down the 4 intake runners
