I've actually been planning a similar setup. I'll be using the TTP-Engineering kit with a DDS-3 as a failsafe. I'm using the MAFTpro for tuning which has an aux input wire that switches maps so I'll be able to run high boost with the Meth and then switch down to a 20 psi pump map when the DDS-3 signals a problem. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get everything going, it may not be this year, but when I do I'll probably hit you up with a few questions.

Awesome write-up.

DDS install

Many thanks for posting the DDS3 installation, your work is exceptional expecially the care you took on protecting the sensor from road splash.

I wonder you could post the same contents to the aquamist site (Gallery).
( I would be very grateful):

Currently, it is at present available from any aquamist US distributors. We are unable to meet the demand at the moment so we have not post it to the website yet. We have two shipment to the US in the last two weeks, you should be able to get one now if you make some quick calls.

We are doing our best to allocate more slots for the new DDS3 production this month. Fifty units went in just under three weeks.

The DDS3 flow sensor system reads up to 450cc/min (panel legend), but can be re-scaled to read up to 1000cc per minute via the "SC" potentiometer on the front facial.

Richard

PS Aresix6, thanks for posting the link to the aquamist forum. I may transfer the entire post to the site - is it OK?

No problem, I actually tried it by cutting and pasting, but the pics wouldn't show up...I was goin to have to manually insert each pic again, it was little overwhelming with the amount of pics I have and I got kinda lazy....lol...so I just put the link in it...

great work for sure... good idea. I might have to do somethign like that IF i keep the SMC setup on my car. I will say that the SMC control boxes go bad so as long as that little black box is in there its not foolproof....definitely a good addition to have though cause even with knock control on and other tricks we couldn't stock piston damage last year cause of it.

evodave, what do you mean the SMC control boxes go bad? What have you seen and how did you figure out that the problem was the control box?
