Another alky injection project
In the other thread you were saying a single pump can handle two m15 nozzles which flow more than double 800cc/min even at 100 psi so now I'm curious...why two pumps for this setup?

the aquamist/shurflo pump will be operated in by-pass mode compared to demand switch mode (smaller pump). the line pressure will be more consistent compared to the flactuation from the "deadband" variations in the demand type switch operation
yep, thats a scooby spec c tank. I got the idea from gunzo, a fellow injection user

a 1/8 27tpi requires a letter "S" drill, 0.3480"/8.84mm
8.84-7.3=1.54mm
1.54mm/2=0.77mm
pretty risky considering if the nozzle comes loose, into the motor it goes....just not enough material left to maintain structural integrity.
the hobbs switch is only for pnuematic as the membrane is of polyimide. I believe they make one for liquids with a fluoropolymer membrane

LOL Abner.. I am seeing the same Abner that I saw two years ago except you have a Evo 9 this time instead of the Evo 8.
I still remember that night you called me and want me to rush to a parking garage to show me your water injection components, I also remember the day you called me and want to show me your custom fabricated nozzle holder... LOL ,you haven't changed Abner, that is just your signature.
It looks good Abner, I think and we all know that you are a skilled guy with a lot of background on engineering so this is the project for you.
When I saw your first set up I put my hands on my head, your pump was big, your nozzle was big and your water tank on the engine bay was huge, now you are basicly doubling the size of everything....
Abner, I hope you have some sort of HKS DLI II, your last set up was saoking your sparkplugs and combustion chamber.
Anyway, thanks for keeping us updated. Changing the subject, I will be there visiting you probably next week (perhaps next weekend). Hope to see you soon.
